About the Too Many Projects Film Club

The Too Many Projects Film Club began in July of 2007, as a two-man project: I chose the first film (Wes Anderson’s Rushmore) and my collaborator Skunkcabbage followed it up with his pick (Jean-Luc Godard’s Band of Outsiders). Since then, the Club has continued, with only three rules: 1) we alternate picks, 2) each pick has to be related, however obliquely, to the film that preceded it, and 3) we must each try to write something about that film. My entries for this project are archived at this blog (and a few other places on the Web). For a full list of the films we’ve watched, in order, visit here. As a fun game, see if you can figure out the linkage that joins each film to its follow-up.
